Tax Deductions
As of January 1, 2025, Canadians may contribute up to $1,750 annually to political entities. An additional $1,750 may be donated at the National level, for a total maximum contribution of $3,500. The maximum tax credit is $650.

The size of your reduction in taxes payable depends on the sum of all your political contributions. Please use the following information to calculate your cumulative tax credit.
Tax Credit
On the first $400 @ 75% =$300
On the next $350 @ 50% = $175
On the next $525 @ 33.33% =$175
