Here is what a future Conservative government will do:
- We will launch a Keep Canadians Working Fund, a temporary loan program for businesses directly hit by tariffs to help them keep workers on the job.
- We will propose accelerated renegotiations to replace the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) and bring in a new deal on trade and security.
- We will rebuild our military and protect our border—not because President Trump wants us to, but because it’s the right thing to do.
- We will unleash our economy by cutting taxes on our workers, putting zero capital gains taxes on Canadian reinvestment, building more homes, LNG plants, pipelines, mines and more in order to build our own economic fortress here in Canada.
With or without the Americans, Conservatives will rebuild Canada's economy after the Lost Liberal Decade to so that we will be a strong, sovereign, and united country that stands on our own two feet.
We will put Canada first.
